100 Days of Free Real Food Meal Plans (2024)

100 Days of Free Real Food Meal Plans (1)

So, I have this thing I like do to do in my spare time…it’s called – planning meals. Yeah, okay. Stop your laughing. Some people knit. Some people sew. Some people play sports. I read cookbooks and dream up meal plans. I’m a wild and crazy girl.

You already know how much I love Plan to Eat. But what you don’t know is that planning meals is one of the highlights of my week. I also enjoy making beds, ironing clothes, and de-boogering my children. Gosh…I AM a weirdo.

But something I’ve learned is that not everyone enjoys de-boogering their children with a Nose Frida – and not everyone enjoys making their bed daily – and some people don’t even own an iron (THE HORROR!). And the most crazy thing of all is….some of you hate making meal plans! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Cue the freaky scary movie music! What is wrong with you people!?

So, I thought I would do this thing for you and make 100 days of meal plans, all for you. 🙂 Because I love you – and because someone should benefit from my crazy weirdness. Using this list, you should be able to repeat each meal 3 times in a year…or find some you really like and repeat them a lot. Because I figure most people probably eat away from home 65 times a year – for holidays, church functions, or because you need to get your Chick-Fil-A on.

I’ve labeled it “Whole Foods Style,” kinda like my 100 Days of Crock Pot Meals. But, like my book, Crock On, maybe I should say “semi-whole foods.” Because if I don’t I’ll start getting more nasty comments and emails about how I’m a wolf in sheep’s clothing because CANNED TOMATOES AND KETCHUP ARE NOT WHOLE FOODS! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Fall down and foam at the mouth.

So, let me be clear (hahahahaha! That’s a joke between me and my husband.), if you don’t want to use canned tomatoes or ketchup…don’t. Shocking. 😉 Just use your homemade canned tomatoes and make homemade ketchup – that’s totally cool. In my mind, whole foods means things that aren’t overly processed – like stuffing mix, canned cream-of soup mix or Velveeta.

Now, a word about lunch…I almost always plan enough for our dinner that I have leftover the next day for lunch. So, if that’s you too, you might need to alter these recipes for serving size. I didn’t pick all 4 serving sized recipes – or 8 serving size recipes…because I always alter those to fit what I need. I like making a big dinner and packing Barry’s lunch immediately so it’s ready for the next day. Then the following day, I don’t freak out at lunch time because I already know what the kids and I are having. So – take the serving sizes into account when you check these out.

If we don’t have leftovers, we eat sandwiches and tortilla chips with fruit. 🙂

Let’s just take care of some questions already – no, I don’t have a grocery list for this. Boom. Yes, I knew you were going to ask. 😉 I almost always cook from my pantry – and I have no idea what’s in your pantry (every time I try to type pantry, it comes out panty…just thought you might want to know). I buy meats in bulk – actually I buy almost everything in bulk. But chances are, you don’t. So I don’t know what you need for dinner. 🙂 And plus, a grocery list for 100 days might take up 15 pages of paper and then I would get hate emails about hating trees and the environment. Ha!

I’ve included a “Prep” category for you because I always prep the day before for the next day. That has just become something I do to make the next day easier. This list might be a bit heavy on the crock pot meals for you, but that’s because I use my crock a lot. A. Lot. You can totally skip the Prep category if you want.

And breakfast – I always make breakfast in advance. But like some of you weirdos who won’t make your bed daily, you might not eat breakfast. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!? So, I will include a nice list of 30 breakfast options for you to rotate as needed. 🙂 How’s that?

Now, behold! Your 100 days of meal plans. Also, if you want it, you can click here and get it in a printable format for your convenience. 😉
