1977 GMC ELEGANZA II 26' 455cu in (7.5 L) Rocket V8 8Cyl Motor Home. The 81st built in 1977. This coach is one of the very last 455 cubic inch motors built before they switched over to the smaller 405 cu in motor.
Odometer mileage: 32,900.
NO FLUID LEAKS.
The GMC Motorhome is a recreational vehicle that was manufactured by the GMC Truck & Coach Division of General Motors for model years 1973–1978 in Pontiac, Michigan, USA — as the only complete motorhome built by a major auto/truck manufacturer. This Vintage Coach sleeps 6 with converted twin bunks behind driver. The dinette area converts to a full size bed and the rear side bench seats convert to a full size bed as well. The bathroom is a wet-bath with full shower area. Plenty of amenities and a 6000 watt Onan Generator. I just put a brand new $150 3-year Walmart Maxx battery in it July 2nd 2024 and then:

Extra parts included: fog lights, air horns, antennas and a large flat storage container for the roof if you would also like to re-install it. (the extra items need to be re-installed) all worked not too long ago when removed)
A statement from Billy Massey a nationwide recognized authority on these GMC coaches who compiles the national registry of these vintage motor homes.
Billy stated this coach has been mistakenly in the registry as a Palm Beach since 2010 when it was registered in Dallas, Tx. It has also been located by another owner in Moundridge, KS in 2016; then owned by T-Bird Tim of Flint, Mi. This coach has things different from an original Palm Beach which are easily modified. Nothing that takes all that much work. Just very personalized and done very well with lots of upgrades.
